Hello dearests of family, friends, and supporters!

I’m Hyobin Sung, team San Diego’s rider and PR Coordinator.

I can’t help but to begin this post with a sincere apology for leaving many of you guys in the dark on our incredible journey through 4K for Cancer’s inaugural Southern route to San Diego.

26 of us have spent the past 23 days deep in gratitude and warmth of each and every community we ride through. We have become a unit of force and every mile brings us closer to one another both within our team and with every person we meet along the way. My job on this journey is to share our stories and spread our mission so that every person added can help continue on the ripple affect of spreading support and love for those battling, surviving, and at times losing to cancer; ultimately to stand firm in solidarity that no young adult should face cancer alone.

DAY-14 [Rome, GA] Our first home stays! Thank you for warm beds and food!

DAY-18 [Iuka, MS] Our first police escort–team rolling out together!

DAY-23 [Little Rock, AR] Presenting 2nd scholarship to an incredible cancer survivor and a woman with big dreasm, Sheralyn Beck.

Everyday each member of team San Diego makes a choice to pedal forward, to explore the unknown, and to be an integral part of this amazing team.

What’s exciting is how much we are making an effort as a team to spared our message and stories further via social media! Now that we’re in the groove of our daily routine of cycling, we have expanded our realm of sharing our days with our family, friends, and supporters!  Let me share with you many ways you can also stay connected to us, follow our journey, and share our tales!
There is something for EVERYONE from team San Diego and we truly look forward to interacting with you! In fact, we WANT you to “like” us, tweet @ us, follow us, comment on our posts, and share your love and words of wisdom!

The following are a handful of ways YOU can join in on our fun!

1. Facebook– We all know how to stalk folks via Facebook. We want you to become an expert at stalking Team San Diego! We will even give you random shout outs for “like”ing our photos & posts! Our daily activity will be posted here.

2. Twitter–140 characters may not be enough to share our daily stories but it’s perfect for updating our status while cycling. We keep it short and sweet and to the point!

Follow us @4KSanDiego

3. Team Blog–Swing by and get to know the personal backgrounds of each rider. What their favorite snack is so you can make sure to include it in their care package, how they like to spend time outside of the 4k, and to learn about words of wisdom each rider lives by every day
